Alternating V Up

Most of you are familiar with the V Up exercise – essentially the combination of a situp and a leg raise.  This week, I’m making a slight adjustment.  We’ve been doing this for a few weeks now.  As you can see, instead of using both legs, you’re only going to lift one leg at a time.  This will allow you to use more hip flexor muscles in the active leg as opposed to just abdominal muscles.  This may seem easier by only lifting one leg at a time, but it serves more to incorporate different muscles as opposed to making it an easier movement.  Do all reps with one leg before switching to the other.
