Weekend Workout

All you need for this one is the open road and a stopwatch.  You’re going to be doing half-mile repeats – 4 of them, to be exact.  Here’s what you’re going to do – It’s pretty simple, minus the actual running part.

Sprint a half-mile.  What I mean by sprint is run the half-mile as fast as you can.  It’s obviously not going to be a full sprint the whole time, but you get the point.  Make sure you have a stopwatch to record your time.  This will come in handy because your half-mile time is going to be your rest time.  So, if it takes you 4 minutes to run, then you’re going to rest 4 minutes.  Repeat this cycle 3 more times for 4 total half-mile sprints.  You should be pretty darn tired by the end of it if you are really pushing yourself each time.  Try your best to match your time on each round.  Let’s see what ya got!!!
