Bottom Half Burpee
Here is another blast from the past this week. I have used this one before on the blog, and we also do plenty of them in class, but it is worth another week in the spotlight here. As most of you already know, just because this is a Half Burpee, doesn’t mean it’s only half as difficult. For those of you who haven’t tried it yet, this is just as challenging and “fun” as the full burpee. Trust me.
To modify this exercise, simply step one foot back at a time and pull one foot back in at a time, rather than jumping both feet in and out simultaneously.
Adding the pushup into this exercise makes the movement much more challenging. Try it out just for a few reps and see if you’re up for it.
