Workout of the Week

This is a new format for a workout, but I think it should be pretty cool.  I will explain the sequence after I give the exercises and reps.  Try it out and let me know what you think….

  • Burpees –  1, 2, 3, 4, 5
  • Pushups – 2, 4, 6, 8, 10
  • Situps – 4, 8, 12, 16, 20
  • Squats – 8, 16, 24, 32, 40

Here’s the sequence….  Do 1 Burpee.  Then 2 Pushups.  Then 4 Situps.  Then 8 Squats.  Then go back to Burpees for 2 reps.  So on and so forth until you have done your last set on squats, which is 40.  Once you get to the last set, rest for a few minutes, then work your way back down.  Start with 40 squats.  Then 20 Situps.  Then 10 Pushups.  Then 5 Burpees.  Continue until you get to 1 Burpee.  If you’re feeling real good about yourself do it twice all the way through.
