Workout of the Week

For those of you that weren’t alive last night, you missed one of the all time beat downs in the history of the BCS National Championship game.  My beloved Crimson Tide completely dominated the Irish in all aspects of the game (except being inferior, of course).  So, today, for our weekly workout, we are going to pay a little tribute to the Alabama Crimson Tide.

The final score to the game was 42-14.  So, in the spirit of being awesome – like Alabama – we are going to do 14 exercises.  For each exercise, we are going to complete 42 reps.  Sounds great, doesn’t it???  I thought so, too.  Here are your exercises:

  1. Alternating Reverse Lunge
  2. Pushup
  3. Situp w Full Twist
  4. Split Squat Jump
  5. Bench Dip
  6. Pushup Position Knee Crossover
  7. Jumping Jack
  8. Squat Jump
  9. Inverted/TRX/DB Row
  10. Plank Climb
  11. Ab Crunch
  12. Alternating Front Lunge
  13. DB Overhead Shoulder Press
  14. Burpee

NOTE:  For ALL exercises complete 42 TOTAL reps.  EXAMPLE – Split Squat Jump – 21 reps with each leg
