Workout of the Week

This week we are doing a pyramid workout.  All exercises are body weight, so even if you can’t get to the gym you can still do this.  Here are your 5 exercises:

  1. Pushups
  2. Squat Jumps
  3. Burpees
  4. Lunges
  5. Plank Climbs

Reps: 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1

How this works:  Complete 1 rep of each exercise, in order.  Then complete 2 reps of each exercise, in order.  Next, 3 reps of each.  So on until you get to 10 of each exercise.  Once you have reached 10 reps, go back down until you get to a single rep of each exercise.  Go through quickly, resting only when necessary.

** For lunges and plank climbs, the reps are for EACH SIDE, so it would be 1 Lunge right/left, and 1 Plank Climb right/left.
